Curiosity
People who want to persistently ask why things happen and how they can be improved.
FOR STUDENTS
For students who want to understand phenomena deeply and shape future possibilities with their own hands.
WHO WE WELCOME
We value curiosity about phenomena, the initiative to experiment, and the ability to collaborate respectfully across different perspectives—not only academic background or country of origin.
People who want to persistently ask why things happen and how they can be improved.
People who want to go beyond analysis or experiments alone and test ideas by making them tangible.
People who can learn with others from different disciplines, cultures, and values.
People who want to connect research outcomes to meaningful value for people and society.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Students do more than carry out assigned tasks. They learn to understand the background, clarify the research question, choose methods, and explain the results.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Depending on the topic, students combine high-speed imaging, mechanical testing, CAD, FEM, data analysis, 3D printing, and other methods.

Make invisible phenomena observable and convert them into quantitative data.

Use numerical analysis and data science to improve understanding and prediction.

Develop design concepts as physical and digital prototypes.
INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Our international environment brings together students from different countries, regions, and disciplines. English is frequently used in research activities. Individual student information and portraits are not published for security and privacy reasons.
