Concept:
Additive manufacturing is positioned as a new means of production in many fields:
aeronautics, space, automotive, medical devices, regenerative medicine,
construction and even food. The issues surrounding additive manufacturing go
beyond the simple design of products. These technologies represent, in some cases,
the guarantee of an industrial production with a high added value, which could
allow the revitalization of the industrial sector of some countries.
The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for leading scientific experts
(from both academia and industry) to share their experience, exchange views
on the issues, challenges and technological barriers, and explore opportunities
for collaboration.
